Congenital heart defects
SA国际传媒offers transcatheter and surgical evaluation and treatment of atrial and ventricular septal defects, including Patent Foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defect (ASD). PFO and ASD are holes that can form in the heart and sometimes cause a stroke. Devices that permanently close the hole can reduce the risk of stroke by almost 80 percent.
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)
HCM is a thickening of the heart muscle. There are a variety of treatment options to include medications, catheter procedures to include alcohol ablation, electrical ablation and surgical procedures to include myectomy. Our structural heart team will evaluate you with an echocardiogram and guide you through treatment options.
Paravalvular and other leak/fistula closures
SA国际传媒offers catheter-based options to plug leaks that may occur around the heart or around the heart valves. These paravalvular leaks and fistulas are evaluated by cardiac catheterization and CT scan and can typically be closed with percutaneous options.
