It also represents our deepening alignment between our healthcare services and health plans. And by providing healthcare that is simple, seamless, personal, and more affordable, we are practicing the future of healthcare today.
At the end of 2023, we retired the Optima Health and Virginia Premier brands unifying them under SA国际传媒 Plans beginning January 1, 2024. This change shows our steadfast commitment to our members and the communities we serve. The new brand identity is a representation of our growth and our promise to continue innovating and adapting in the ever-changing healthcare industry.
We will continue to go by the name people call us in conversation, Sentara, a name and brand our consumers' trust.
While our brand is evolving, our mission remains the same: We Improve Health Every Day.
Our refreshed logo and name were developed through thoughtful research and conversations with our colleagues, patients, and members. The logo and name represent a modern, people-centered, and approachable look while still retaining elements of our original logo—including our beloved gold "swoosh," which our consumers say represents the "gold standard" in healthcare. It's still our familiar gold color, but just a touch brighter and softer around the edges.
As you can imagine it will take time to fully implement this brand refresh. We're excited about the evolution of our brand and want to thank everyone whose input shaped it.
